Channel scan does not show CW-DT only CW-SD

I can only get THE CW in on sd channel not the dt channel. Even add missing channel for KSCW-DT does not work as the channel shows up in 4:3 not 16:9. Have four tuners, 2 wintv 950's and avermedia dual atsc. Tried channel scan with only one tuner at a time and still can't get KSCW-DT. Tv's have the dt channel and the avermedia center can find the dt channel but not Windows 7 Home Premium media center.

It looks like KSCW-DT is on VHF channel 12. When you added missing channels, did you use physical channel 12? Win7 WMC does not scan the VHF channels so you will have to add them manually; 33.1, 33.2, 33.3, 33.4, 33.5 on physical channels 12.

When I scan with WMC I can get 3.x thru 12.x, all 33.x come in as 4:3, I had 33.1 in DT 16:9 at one time.

The display channel (virtual channel) and the physical channel (rf channel) are different things. Scanning in WMC on Win7 does not scan the physical vhf channels 2-13. You are getting the 3.x stations because they are on uhf channel 15, 5.x on uhf 23, 8.x on uhf 17, 10.x on uhf 21, 12.x on uhf 19. Your HD CW stations are on vhf channel 12.

In WMC, when you add a channel manually, the Digital TV channel will be 33.1 and the assigned frequency is 12. That will get you your HD CW channel. What you are seeing right now is the SD CW channel on uhf channel 33 subchannel 3.
