WMC Guide listing are out of synch

#1

The WMC Guide listings are advanced by 10 hours. The programs are playing in real time. How can the Guide listings be synced to real time? The "Get Latest Guide Listings" in WMC does nothing.

Check your system clock and make sure it’s correct and time zone is correct.

if you are still using rovi listings from microsoft, other users in the thread "Microsoft ending EPG for WMC in January" are reporting that their last guide update is all out of sync and randomly full of errors as well. Given it sounds like the listings themselves are full of errors, there is probably no way to fix this other than 1) wait and hope microsoft sends another guide update (which may never happen as their guide was supposed to end a month ago) 2) move to another guide data provider like epg 123. But first check your system clock and time zone like the other poster said.

Thank you for the replies/advice. Unfortunately, the system date, time and time zone all appear correctly.

The out of sync time has advanced to 17 hours. While the current time is 2:23PM EST, Saturday afternoon, the WMC listings are displayed as 9:23AM Sunday morning.

You really need to investigate an alternate source of guide data. This is almost certainly not going to be fixed by Microsoft and in fact as they have announced, the data will be going away completely. I suggest you look into EPG123.
