Mine also ended on 8/14, but I just initiated a download and now have data out to 8/16. It seems that it skips a day or two, or three, from time to time...

yep me2. My data is out to 16th now too.

But an everyday 3:30 AM scheduled update did it.

"....anyone who cares can use an alternative EPG, because WC is not dependent on Microsoft's EPG." What is the procedure to keep or get the EPG, especially if MS stops supporting it?

As of today (August 4 2019) the guide runs to Aug 16 and TCM has 148 entries....that's my indicator of how things are running, it was down to 80-90 titles when I wrote the above but it seems to have picked up.

We've got a whole subforum covering an alternative.

For some of us... (I can't be the only person) seldom do I have guide issues with Rovi.

Anyone else missing cable listings after 8/29 @8pm? I have OTA listings but my Verizon FiOS listings end early, same as the issue I and others had here:

I saw that problem on one of my machines but then it cleared when I ran the forced update from the admin prompt change directory to ehome\ and then input mcupdate.exe -uf and it runs a forced download and then a client maintenance to clean the listings of old data.

I did get one update a few days ago that included the FiOS listings then it went back to OTA only. I haven't checked the past two days, so not sure if it got any more FiOS listings. It appears to be a server problem, so I am skeptical that running mcupdate will clear it, but it may be a problem with it not marking the update as "new" on the server and the mcupdate tells it to get anything available even if not newer.

My guide runs to Sep 22. Did you try the forced update? (admin C prompt and ehome/mcupdate.exe -uf) Runs a forced guide download incase you're in the date loop bug and then does a guide clean-up.

Thanks John.

When I got home from work the guide had finally updated after being out all day per the wife. But I will file that trick away for later.
