So rather than report issues to the responsible parties...
Please. Do everyone here a favor and read what's already written before you post. Several users, myself included, reported this to Rovi days ago and, as we always do, came right here and said we had.

When I told my Rovi connection that the problem was continuing this morning, I received the reply (also posted here) that they've notified MS about this several times, MS told them they know and are working on it, and Rovi (rightly) let us know there's nothing further they can do. Therefore, you or anyone else here writing them again is counterproductive and will do nothing to help solve the problem. When it's finally fixed, that will be posted here too.

Rovi/TiVo is not the responsible party, they are just nice enough to forward it on to Microsoft.

It is possible that the reason the feed stops working SOMETIMES is due to something with the source feed at TiVo, but WMC users are not their direct customers, Microsoft is. But I am fairly certain that when the feed stops working, it is due to something on the Microsoft servers, not a problem with the source feed at TiVo.

Contacting TiVo when there is a problem with your WMC feed from Microsoft is like contacting HBO when your cable system is out instead of calling your cable company. Imagine HBO being nice enough to contact Comcast for you when you call them about an outage? This is what TiVo is doing, so bombarding them with calls is not the way to thank them.

Rovi/Tivo has always told me they contact Microsoft when someone reports a problem. Since Mircosoft eliminated their user reporting systems for WMC problems, contacting Rovi is the only way to get someone to let Microsoft know there is a problem. So I have no problem with contacting them, they have always been very positive in their responses to my emails asking them to let Microsoft know of the problem.

There have been several ways of getting in contact with Microsoft to fix the feed over the years, some came some went. Contacting TiVo/Rovi is the only way I know of right now, so yes, I am not saying not to contact them. What I am saying is that once they are made aware of the problem and have contacted Microsoft, there no longer a need to keep contacting them.

TiVo is a competitor to WMC!!!

The fact that they do this is amazing! But let's not give them an excuse to say "contact Microsoft directly, you are not our customer", and then we are left with no known way of contacting the right people at Microsoft to fix this problem. Try calling Microsoft yourself and see if you can get anywhere with trying to get them to fix the data feed for WMC. The people that answer will have no idea what you are talking about.

Verizon just updated, and since system-wide corrections usually go in alphabetical order, everyone should be caught up - for now.

Mine is strictly OTA. The "about the guide" date says it goes to 6/27, but if I fast forward through the guide, it still stops a 6/19.

South Florida updated into 26 June.

For those still stuck on 18th, try selecting another WMC window, such as "Recorded TV". Then go back to Guide. That immediately solved problem for me.

I've had guide info past the 18th for a while, but I have the issue of the data being wrong - i.e. Wednesday on ABC at 9 PM shows "Spin the Wheel" instead of "Card Sharks" - 11 AM Saturday on Food Network shows "uNews" instead of "The Kitchen"

Tried to download guide listings, moused over the system tray icon, watched it the whole time, it said "Failed to retrieve EpgListings: failed to connect to the remote server" or something like that

I did notice a couple things being wrong in the guide after it was eventually updated. In both cases, the info at tvguide.com was correct, meaning that the source data was updated, but for some reason WMC was not.

This means that either the update was too late to make it in to WMC, or the update is in the data sent to WMC, but for some reason WMC was unable to update those particular listings (it is a known problem what WMC is sometimes unable to update certain listings, although I am not sure it is know under what circumstances this occurs).

If I recall correctly, the programs that were wrong were "Fear the Walking Dead" and "The Son" (both on AMC). One of them was showing Tennis and the other was showing something that I can't remember (I think it was some cooking show), but it was definitely not something that I would expect to be airing on AMC. It was almost like there was some corruption rather than it just being old/un-updated data.

Is anyone else getting the failed to connect with remote server error message when attempting to manually download the EPG on WMC? (I started getting that last night, Sunday June 18 and still getting it this morning.

I think you mean last night Tuesday, June 18th (not Sunday), but yes I too am having the problem. Started last night and still having an issue this morning. Kind of weird though because it downloaded the guide only a week ago (on the 11th or the 12th, don't remember without being there), but prompted to d/l it again last night. I thought it was odd, but allowed to get the new listings, and then nothing but problems. Now I see in this thread that there are other people who had their listing info only go through the 18th as well. I think this is part of the problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon!

You are right it was Tuesday - remembering the day of the week is harder when retired and not working anymore. The problem with the EPG stopping on the 18th had already been corrected a few days ago, this a new issue.
