Different problem for me and some others in the UK I think.
My guide hasn't worked for at least two weeks.
Just OTA data and nothing else.
Just found rated connect.microsoft feedback occurrence.
https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/ ... ls/3104428
I had previously reported it to microsoft here:
https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/ ... ed-uk-data
but I suggest the first link is the place to go.
Please let Barb know the guide isn't working in the UK unless someone else says otherwise.
Maybe I need to start a new thread for UK users?
You can post your problem on this thread on Microsoft Community and ask Barb if her contact at Microsoft can do anything about UK problems with the EPG,
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... 07?page=67
She will require a ticket to be opened on Connect to do anything if she can help.

(I couldn't help but notice, given the topic, that "well" is easily a contraction of "went to hell")

It's been a while since mentioned on this thread, but since your question is a very pointed question ... yes.
>>HERE<<, or go straight to the source
here.
Finally got around to doing this, well recommended.

I've been checking my auto update every few days. As of this morning I have the update through 10/20 at 6AM with data through 10/19 at 7:30PM. So that's 12 1/2 days of data which was the norm before, so I'm good.
Still ticked off that Microsoft doesn't respond to anything, and even Rovi ignored my ticket. We need to see "I'm in control here at ____ and we will stay on top of the Guide staying updated".
I fully expect to be back here with no updates in 4 months or less.
Moved to W10 and NPVR in December 2019. Bye.

There's a free HBO and Cinemax preview this weekend (ends Monday) on FiOS and I noticed that "I am Legend" shows as airing on 10/10 @8pm ET on HBO on zap2it.com, but on WMC (Rovi) it has a different show in that timeslot (Straight Otta Compton). So if the guide is not updated by Monday, you will have to record one movie in order to get the other movie.
It's still wrong (I assume zap2it is correct) on tvguide.com, so it may not even be updated even if WMC updates start working again.
WARNING: The home page of zap2it.com will redirect to screenertv.com, if you click on "TV LISTINGS" on the home page it still goes to the old zap2it listings (thankfully). Not sure why they made this change.

OK so I got fed up like a week ago and moved on to EPG123. It works great. Wrote a Step By Step Guide for what I did here.
https://sites.google.com/site/gregsqna/ ... ata/epg123
Now I get 3 weeks guide data instead of just 2. Also I LOVE the option to put season and episode #'s right in the title in guide.

Just checked my guide data end date, and I have 10/20 at 7pm EDT, so maybe try updating again.

Still nothing here. No data after 10/19.
Today's update here was even earlier than the previous few days but didn't include new data. Hopefully if/when I get new data again, it won't be with an additional day lag on top of the already stale Rovi data we get when things are working.
First time I remember not getting updates when someone else was.

Don't believe everything WMC tells you... If you check your actual schedule data, I think you'll find you don't have actual listings past mine.
Another update with no new data today. Schedule info still ends 10/21 @ 8 pm EDT.

Ditto anotheruser. The guide page says 10/22 6am, but when I search/title says 12 days. There was no new data today (for me it happens at 6am or so). I'm not sure how you count the days out so it would be 11 or 12 depending on when you start. Seems like the search/title is closer to the truth. My guide truly ends at 10/21 4:30pm

I haven't had any new data on the schedules for two days now, stuck on 10/21 as the last good data on the schedule. This work one day stop working two days is getting old quickly. As soon as I submit a ticket it is working again so I am hesitant about putting in new tickets because I don't want Microsoft blowing them off as us being chicken little crying the sky is falling. Just wish Microsoft would pay a couple of people to keep the EPG working without us having to submit tickets 10 times a month.

My 'normal' is 13 days and sometimes 12 days (per search/title). When it gets to 11 days it USUALLY means there is a problem, but not always. I think it is prudent to wait one more cycle to see what happens.

I have had no update now for about 14days and my guide has all gone
it says downloading and says it's completed however whenever I go in to the guide it tells me to download it again
I did a restore of my wmc back to 2015 in case an update had caused it but no that still did the same
is this a world wide thing I'm in the midlands uk ? anyone else in the uk experiencing this ?
thanks

Stef - I'm in London and can confirm this - I've had no guide for weeks.. It's purely a guide issue - I think I'm going to make the the move to epg123..
