Hi all,
I was looking at the logs in my HDHR Prime today. It looks like it was reset/rebooted around 4am on Tuesday morning. I don't recall any power outages, and I definitely wasn't awake unplugging stuff at that hour. The following appears in the first line of the Log History in my HDHR Prime.
19700101-00:00:00 System: reset reason = headend reset command
Did Time Warner send this reset command? If so, what would be their reason for doing so?
If the tuner was in use, would it wait for it to go idle to reset or would it just reset and ruin any recordings I had going at that time?
Thanks for reading.

Yes, providers sometimes remotely reboot CableCards and STBs to push software/firmware updates. The reboot occurs regardless if the device is in use or not, which is why most remote reboots happen in the middle of the night.UCBearcat wrote: Did Time Warner send this reset command?
