ETH is most likely on a different subnet than your PC since there is no router.
You have to run DCA after a fresh install.

4)I guess if it connects at 1000 its good to go.
hp2.png) I agree that there should be something other than zero's if the tuner nic is doing something. If you leave the tuner in 11, and try to access the webpage, and succeed, then update Port Statistics, It should show a packet or 2 somewhere.
hp1.png) Looks like you have Jumbo Frames turned on. MTU 9216 I really don't know if that's a problem, but mine are set to...I forget exactly, high 1400's or low 1500's, I want to say 1492 or 1512.
InfiniNetwork008) is Wireshark on my HTPC 192.168.1.10 having a chat with my Echo extender 192.168.1.38 Looks like HTPC to ECHO is mostly 1471
There are a few ways to reset the tuner:
a) during the software install, checkmark RESET
b) inside the diagnostic pages (if you can get to it)
c) possibly in the webpage somewhere
d) I have seen Reset Tuner inside WMC, don't remember exactly where.
All them damn Ceton tuners have the wrong date. I hate it, I don't think they have a clock/date chip.

Last time I checked the tuner was at 10.0.0.111 don't know about the subnet mask

Maybe we should static wmcpc2 10.0.0.50
Get in to the tuner and reset
Then put wmcpc2 back to get IP automatically
Not sure I trust the router

What is the IP address and subnet mask of wmcpc2 ?
The last time you had access to the ETH6.....What was the IP address and subnet mask?
How did you do a firmware upgrade if you cant see the tuner?

The WMC has a 75.X.X.X IP address and a subnet given by the Charter modem right now. This is what would normally be given to the WAN port of a router, if i had one in the test environment.

Ok I added the router to the mix:
WMC PC obtained a 10.0.0.186/24 IP as expected
The Diagnostic utility still cannot find the Tuner.
I noticed after I collected diag information to send to Ceton (who hasn't replied to the ticket since last friday), there's a few text documents with PING results from:
192.168.200.1 and
192.168.180.1
Obviously the PINGs fail since these IP's aren't on the same network as my home network.
This is what I don't understand. Can someone please tell me why the ETH 6 has a default IP of 192.168.200.1 and is set as a DHCP server? How could these settings possibly work with any network? The ETH6 should be obtaining an IP from my router OR giving me the option to set a static. But i have no idea why the default settings are the way they are. It makes no sense.
Is there a way to post a diag zip?

I'm getting frustrated with this project, as I am sure you are. However, I would like to try one final time.
No TA..... we don't need a signal
No switch....use the router's switch
Start out with nothing plugged into the router.
Power Cycle the router (not reset) unplug the 120VAC wait a min or two then plug it back in.
Uninstall everything Ceton from wncpc2
Shut down wmcpc2,
disconnect the power,
press the on button then release it,
connect the Ethernet wire to routers port 1
plug it back in to 120VAC, and turn it on, login
Shut down ETH6
disconnect the 120 VAC
connect the Ethernet wire to router port 2
plug it back in to 120 VAC
watch the lights front and back
write down the colors you see, the order you see them in, and whether or not they are blinking, solid, etc.
Now go over to wmcpc2
Install the Ceton Software
During the install put a checkmark in reset tuner to factory.
Can you see the tuner diagnostic now?
Boot the tuner 2-3 times
Did the lights do anything different?

Thanks Crash, i Know i'm exhausted from all of this. I wish Ceton would just help... They're already in a company crossroads with the release of W10 and no WMC support, you'd think they would put the customer first and stop arguing with me.
I'm about to leave on a short trip, i'll be back Wed. I'll simplify the setup by removing the switch and TA and see what happens. Currently the PC is getting an IP around 10.0.0.180 (DHCP range of my router).

Can someone post a link to the latest NON-BETA drivers for the CETON ETH 6? Maybe this has something to do with the pooling features in the beta drivers. While I'd love to pool the tuners, statically assigning them to each TV is fine with me.

The ETH doesn't require any drivers. Just uninstall them. All the drivers do is give you diagnostics and a few utility functions like the ability to clear out the WMC tuner config.

Here's an older firmware, still beta though:
http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/vie ... 692#p81692
FWIW, I've run every firmware version ever released for the ETH. None has ever caused the issues you're seeing.
IMO, something on your network is blocking traffic to/from the ETH somehow. Did you ever enable upnp? Do you pick Home as your LAN type when you first connect your PC? Have you tried different ethernet cables? Have you disabled green ethernet on your network card?
