Hi I sometimes like to watch recorded tv on double speed. Yesterday I installed shark 007 advanced codec and now have lost sound when playing recorded tv on double speed. I uninstalled shark and then could not play anything back. Wmc was saying codec error, forcing me to reinstall shark 007.
How can I reinstall default codec for wmc or get sound back with shark codec. Thanks for your help

This isn't any type of solution but some anecdotal information.
I've been using the Shark007 advanced codecs for many, many, many years on a Win7 Pro WMC system. I also like to play some of my recordings on double speed with sound. I've never experienced any issues.
Hopefully Shark will respond to this post but in the meantime, have you posted on the Shark Forums?

I've used the Shark007 standard codec pack for years, as well. IIRC, a while back, Shark removed support for TV. Don't recall when exactly, or if I ever found an 'old version' archive. Shark007's forum is probably your best bet for help.
BTW STANDARD_Codecs_v721 from Nov, 2018 was my last update.

I'm using version 8.3.3 and have never had any issues on a Win 7 pro machine. As far as I can remember I used the 64 bit version even though this pack includes both versions.
For your convenience I've uploaded the 8.3.3 installer and screenshots of my 32 and 64 bit settings here in the "Third Party Programs" folder.
SUGGESTION -> Before starting, remove or uninstall every third party codec pack you've ever installed (including Sharks) and then reboot. Install it after the reboot.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Space the link to shark settings helped. I unchecked suggested settings and audio came back. I feel silly I didn't try that first. Thanks again!
