Turners not Found After Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1

I am running WMC on 2 computers- one with Windows 7 and one with Windows 8.1. With the expiration of Windows 7 approaching in January, I recently successfully upgraded my Windows 7 machine to Windows 8.1. Fortunately, I had my Windows Media Center Pack upgrade key, so I was almost successful in installing WMC. BUT… when starting WMC for the first time, I am unable to set up the TV signal. Program goes to Recorded TV and Live TV Setup. Select Live TV Setup brings up the Tuners not found message (the tuners are listed in Network- and work with the other long-time running Windows 8.1 computer). I tried removing the WMC (Programs and Features-Turn Windows Features On or Off-Media Features-uncheck Windows Media Center)- and then reinstalling after rebooting. Any ideas? Thanks.

Problem solved- uninstalled and then reinstalled HDHomerun. Turners found.

NOTE: The Key I mentioned was not an Upgrade key to Pro Pack- rather it was key for original Windows 8. Of course the Upgrade Keys are no longer for sale by Microsoft. I spent a lot of time searching various site- and tried lots of keys that were mentioned. None worked. Finally I tried 2 sites on eBay selling keys. One site was very inexpensive, and offered a digital reply. It did not work, but they promptly refunded my money. The other site was around $50. In desperation, I tried this. 3 or 4 days later a shrink-wrapped packaged arrived via mail- its key DID work. (I'm not sure about Green Buttons policy on supplying links-just searched eBay).

I’m now good for 3 more years.
