I couldn't install windows no matter what I tried but found this and it worked. This actually prepares your new disk for use, then copies all of the installation files to the new disc from a DVD via the command line in Windows repair.

When I did this with Windows 10 it setup a uefi install on its own but I wonder if there is a way to tell it to install with MBR/BIOS instead.
