Hey there.
Not sure if this is possible, but I am looking for a way to see missed recordings.
Example: If I have a program scheduled to record today from 3:00pm - 3:30pm, but my computer is off for whatever reason from 1:00pm to 5:00PM, it misses the recording, but doesn't tell me anywhere that I can see/find that it was missed!
I checked event logs and nothing!
What I would like is a way to see this somehow!
If not, is there ANY tool or way to view the mcepg3-0.db contents?
Thank you!

Since your computer was off for the entire duration of the scheduled recording, there won't be an entry (in my experience). If it was a OneTime or Manual request, then you can use epg123 Transfer Tool to see that the request is still there.
As far as seeing the contents of the database, you can run "epg123client.exe -x" to give a new button above the merged channel list view called "Store Explorer". It is not for the faint at heart, and it won't give you any information for this situation... just answering the question here.

I ran epg123client.exe -x and I'm not seeing any change in EPG123 Client Guide Tool. I'm running v1.6.2.9. Am I missing something? Can you provide a screenshot of what I'm looking for?
