Wow:
We told Axiim from the very beginning that we would be basing our review more on ease of installation and use than overall sound quality.
Is this what the world has come to? "We don't care if it's suitable for its express purpose; we just want to fiddle with the buttons".

Plus cost to add the outlets where you want the speakers. That or have an ugly looking setup possibly even having to run extension cords.
For that kind of cash you can get a really really nice AVR and matched speaker setup.

"hmmmm, run extension cords/power strips and end up with wireless sound, or run speaker wire and get the processed analog signal straight from the amp to the speaker....hmmmmmm"
yeah, not a difficult discussion to have with myself.
Oh, wait a minute. I have a million dollar idea. Let's make 0 gauge power cords, slap the Monster label on them, and sell them for these wireless speakers. How easy would it be to blather on about how it makes the sound warmer and enhances the separation....and be sure to use only the RED ones for the rear speakers, and the BLUE ones for the front speakers.
Oh, that would be SO easy.
Reminds me of this:
