Anyone know if updating to Win10 21H1 works with v8.8.5?

Windows 10, with WMC 8.8.5

I have messed something up and recorded tv isn't playing. I am trying to reinstall WMC but the uninstaller.cmd just quits immediately and nothing happens.

I have installed WMC 8.8.5 on windows 10 pro 21h1 using a Hauppauge colossus 1 and then WMC pack for the colossus the scan finds the 9999 channels as usual epg123 populates the guide but when you click on a program in the guide you hear the bing but nothing else seems to happen it doesn't seem to...

Long time WMC user(since WinXP) and tgb browser. But I have not encountered this before.

My main Win7x64 HTPC has been acting flaky lately and I am trying to setup a replacement.

Replacement setup is: W10 21H1 x64 (fresh install), WMC 8.8.5, 2 HDHR OTA tuners and EPG123.

If I tune in using Win10...

(1.) When I run WMC in full-screen, I have full-screen picture, the lower bar with buttons in invisible and shows only when I need it, in transparent mode.

(2.) When I run WMC in window, I have picture with over and under black strips and the lower bar with buttons is still visible on the lower...

How do I check the version of Windows media center I have on my Win 10 PC? I know I had to fix something a ways back and I have both the v13 and 8.8.5 sets of install files on my PC but not sure if I upgraded to 8.8.5 to fix my issue.

I changed from Windows 10 to Windows 7 and I saw that my games didn't work.So I tried to fix it and after a restart all my programmes wouldn't open,but it said to try open with WMC and now EVERY programme have that stupid icon and I can't even open them.How can I change everything back to normal?!

I upgraded my HTPC to Windows 10 and have been using Hauppage WinTV 10 with their 2650 dual channel cable card tuner.
