Does anyone know anything about this? When it might be back?

WOW - you actually had XP Media Center data? Most everyone gave up when we couldn't get data after the ROVI switchover last year. I'm betting you are not in the states. I doubt data will come back since support for XP is over. I'd suggest you upgrade to Windows 7.

I THINK Vista Ultimate had a 4-tuner limit, whereas lesser versions had 2 - you might be able to pick up an upgrade for cheap.
I currently use Vista Home Premium, and that does have a limit of two tuners. If more than two are installed, MC lists all of them, but allows you to set up only two....

Is there any way to purchase this? I can't find any distribution channel and Gregg (CannonPC) was hitting a brick wall with his sources at MS before he closed up shop. I'm happy to pay for it if someone is actually selling this.

I'm just bumping this thread to show there's some interest in more than 5 simultaneous extenders! Even if there was a one time license cost involved!
I would definitely come out of pocket for an increase in amount of simultaneous extenders!

Sasktel MAX STB connected via S-Video
WMC is set up, has correct guide listings, remote codes are learned.
WMC will tune (or more correctly it will send IR commands to tell the STB to tune) for any channel...

This only recently started. WMC seems to have problems recording series programs. It does record single movies, but not series. I see the red recording button on the system tray indicating a recording in progress, but opening WMC, it does not show up there.
Also, the red recording indicator stays...

What directory do you have Recorded TV saving to? Did you check to see if the programs are actually being saved there?

Has anyone solved the sleep issues with Vista and WMC? I would really like to use the wake on lan feature with this PC since i had fully intended to use it as a bulk storage device as well as a PVR. Thanks.

I have built a home media server from my MOL's old sony vaio desktop. I have Vista home premium installed and have had very little problems with my setup that I haven't been able to find solutions to online somewhere. Except for this one. I can't seem to get sound when i tune into the OTA HD...

I found the tv pack. Sleep issues not a problem as its only for PC in kitchen/dining room for when anyone is in that room, PC is pretty much on all the time anyway. I just got to get a cable fed into the room.
Cheers
