Hi
Does anyone have any bright ideas? I was thinking about adding some Thai Internet TV channel streams in to Media Center for my wife to watch. I did this before back in Vista Media Center using an add-in called Web Media and .asx media streams. I haven't tried it yet so don't know if Web Media...

You can add your own streams using SecondRun.tv. You can also add asx files this way:

For the record, the only thing required to make MKV files play in WMC is an MKV splitter like Haali or Gabest. MKV is just a container, not a codec. The MKV container contains underlying audio and video streams that are already encoded with whatever codec. The codec is needed on your system to...

Looks like the developer of the awesome BBC iPlayer addin has decided to pick the project up again and do a lot more work on it to include 4oD and others. No word on release date yet but just a heads up for UK users that another alternative for streaming in MCE may be on the way soon.

Actually having been stuck at home sick for the past couple of days, I have renewed respect for NMTV. It does actually work very well considering how poor a lot of the streaming services are. 4oD seems to be particularly bad, frequently failing after the first ad break and displaying a black screen...
