I used MCC for the whole trial period. It worked well so i donated 10$ to activate the software.

But everytime I try to activate it there is the following error message:

unable to activate: Failed to get activation data: Unable to get activation key: Unknown license ID: .....

I installed Media Center Cast, and it seems to have integrated itself just fine, but it doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

What I want to do.. is stream the TV content I'm watching on my computer in WMC to my Chromecast. Is there any way to do that with this? If not, can it be made to do so...

There are now new chromecast apps. I tried the Revision3 app. It shows the cast icon and my MCE is listed. When I try to cast, it does not connect. Made sure my system was working with youtube app and it works fine.

I'm glad I didn't pay for this because it looks like it has been permanently abandoned. Too bad because it had potential if it was kept up to date and could leverage apps like Pandora.

When installing, I selected the option to allow it to un in the background, but it appears that I have to manually run it myself the first time. Is it possible to set this up to run automatically upon system startup so that it's always ready, willing and and able to accept casts???

Couldn't find any settings for the app in the program folder, hoping to get rid of the giant bar on the bottom that displays the last keypress on screen which takes up about a 10th of the 720P screen.

I recently started using the Media Center Cast in my household and my girlfriend and I love it howver we do have one request.

Is it possible to make the Media Cast play Google Music continuesly from a playlist.

As it currently works we pick a song and it plays that song but it does not...

The Pandora Android app has been updated to support casting to Chromecast. However, when I am on the same network as Media Center Cast, the cast icon does not show up. Is this something that MCC needs to be updated for?

It's obvious the developer is not interested in supporting this app, which is a shame since it wasn't cheap for what it was. I really can't recommend this app to anyone when the actual Chromecast is much more feature rich.

Youtube works fine but I just get a white screen and this error when tab casting:
Cannot load the requested version of the CV receiver app. Please try again later. If the problem persists, try updating the CV extension in your browser.

I've had this issue since the first beta and I'm not sure if others are having the same issues. I use a remote to control my HTPC and pressing the back button twice does not bring back to windows media center. I have to hit the green button but when i return to MCC none of the controls work.

MCC is crashing on occasion and I'd like to figure out why. I didn't see any events logged in the event viewer. Anywhere else I should be looking?
