)Lately, if my internet connection drops and the Media Center isn't able to reach the internet I'll get a PlayReady update error. When this happens the Media Center won't record content and will not display live TV. We can watch stuff that was already recorded. Needless to say this is very annoying.
I haven't tried to manually apply the update when this happens (because I didn't have internet access I couldn't download the updater). I have it now and I'll probably try it, but still that is super stupid to have to install this update each time the internet drops for an extended period of time.
The only thing that has changed in the last couple of years is that I switched from the ATI cable card readers to a HDHomeRun Prime tuner.
