Dang, I dreamed of having one of those too. I wish there was more info out there about these. Like does it run the normal Xbox OS, does it get dashboard updates like a regular Xbox?

Years ago I looked into these, and from what I remember, its an actual xbox 360 inside a niveus chassis. It launches directly to media center; no dashboard access, no updates. I'm really tempted to buy it just to find out exactly how it compares to the xbox. You see words like "optimized", and i remember an interview with nivues that said it was the only ISF certified extender. I know that's a lot of marketing talk, but i'm easily persuaded by flashy objects and fancy words.

and this is the only edge i've ever seen for sale on ebay.

It would be very cool to own. I would just prefer it had dashboard access for things like Netflix.
