I've seen them advertised and was wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with them?

Many moons ago (~6-7 years) I had a FusionHDTV from them for OTA - it worked. They are limited to OTA and ClearQAM though - no CableCARD, if that's a concern of yours.

Crappy engineering (as in lots of heat). Don't count on driver updates when a new OS comes out. Also, the channel change delay is ridiculous. One of the few hardware components I've had that failed before I was done using it. Steer clear.
