The BBC are now broadcasting more channels in HD in certain parts of the UK.
BBC Three HD, BBC Four HD, BBC News HD, CBBC HD, Ceebies HD.
Any idea when the guide listings will catch up?

how long is a piece of string? some have been done quite quick in the past, others not so.
personally i use dvblink to deliver channels and epg and the hd listings have been on digiguide for a week or so now. if i were you i'd just map the non-hd epg to the new channels and wait...

I used GuideTool to just link these channels to the non-HD channel versions.

7MC will happily allow you to create a permanent copy of EPG data from an SD channel to an HD channel; no third-party tool needed. Just don't select the merge option, or you won't know whether you're recording in SD or HD.
I just wish that there were a similar option to allow time-offsetting of EPG's for the +1 channels.

Today? I just did my weekly download of the Microsoft EPG for Freeview DVB-T/T2, and on reviewing the EPG afterwards, I found that a few channels had lost their EPG ("Al Jazeera", "Russia Today", several BBC radio channels). So I went into "Setup" to "Add listings to a channel" for these channels, and whilst doing that I noticed that there were entries for "BBC3 HD", "BBC4 HD", "CBeebies HD", etc. I cannot receive HD (I still use Vista) so I did not check to see if all of the new HD channels were listed.kramaring wrote:The BBC are now broadcasting more channels in HD in certain parts of the UK.
