Besides the fact that Sandy Bridge CPU's didn't exist when Windows 7 Media Center was created. There's no way that Media Center could take advantage of the copy-protection features of the Sandy Bridge CPU.

The DRM and PlayReady should be linked to your Windows Software Key that comes with your Windows DVD Install. The randomly created GUID is ridiculous. I recently lost many, many, many recorded tv shows that I was saving to watch during the 'rerun' summer months. Now they are all gone, because my main drive (ssd) died. Used another identical ssd. My Windows repair refused to use my last system image for "unknown" reasons. After weeks of trying to clone/restore/repair/pray/beg.... nothing.... had to reinstall Windows onto a new ssd, and because of this stupid random GUID, I lost my recordings.... It should be linked to the Windows Software Key because they are already unique for each install.
