Green Screen Issues

I have had an issue several times (not so often but annoying) where I come back to the media center to watch some tv and all I have is a green screen. It has happened twice over the last 2 days and I am starting to get some complaints from the wife.

What causes this? it seems to be when a show ends or something and we return to the media center to watch another show. The screen is black when we get there ( I assume the display turns off) but we press a button on the remote and all we get is a green screen. I either need to remote desktop into the wmc and then log back in on the console or I have to just send a remote restart command so it will reboot and autologin again.

What can I check? The video card is an AMD HD 6450
