I'm really just starting to use WMC, so I have a lot to learn. When I watch Live TV, the display is fine. I set my movie library up yesterday (points to another computer) and when I play back something from the Movie Library, the display is off-center to the right. Any ideas what is causing this ?

I have no idea. What type of movie file are you playing? What audio/video codecs does it contain? Have you tried playing the movie using a different player like VLC or Media Player (in full-screen mode)? How does it look when you try this?
