Echo hits $129
On Newegg this morning. Price is headed in the right direction. $99 might make me a buyer.

The email I got this morning says, "Save early for July 4th!" in the subject line and the body text says, "Hurry, ends tomorrow"

As others have mentioned, this is a temporary sale for the holiday, and pricing will increase back to normal price after 7/3/13

I would not pay even $79 for another one until Ceton Comes out with some sort of updates as to the future of Echo and some assurance this is not a one trick pony with no long term future. As far as I an concerned this is still a beta product not ready for prime time.

That's where I am. If they ever get it right I'll buy another, but I don't think I'll pay current retail prices. I'll wait for a sale after it's confirmed to work decently.wanabefree wrote:I would not pay even $79 for another one until Ceton Comes out with some sort of updates as to the future of Echo and some assurance this is not a one trick pony with no long term future. I am in the market for a couple more (I know call me nuts). This time not for me. Do we think we will see the $99 echo's anymore? I want to go new. I see ebay has some at $115 for some new ones. I thought this last weekend we would have seen the sale again.

Last sale was for a free Echo with an InfiniTV. I guess they're trying to mix it up a little. Keep checking eBay or wait for the next sale.

I would call you nuts if you were buying for yourself, but "nuts" is an understatement for what you are doing...IownFIVEechos wrote:This time not for me.
