Hi Everyone,
I too went through a similar situation with T-W. The guide notified me that it would soon be out of date. When I tried to update the guide, I got a "failed" message. Long story short, I removed the Ceton and Hauppauge tuners, uninstalled WMC and all the Ceton and Hauppauge drivers and software. Reinstalled everything and it finally updated properly. I and the T-W tech rep believe T-W switching to all digital disrupted the guide program. I'm just glad to have it working again, and not paying for that POS dvr and $10 per month "dvr service charge".

I've hit this problem before, there is a guide how to do this with a few less steps (not needing to uninstall software), but I switched to Comcast and haven't had to find it in a while. If it happens again, google "fios wmc guide not updating" and I'm sure you will come across the steps.
