TV Guide - No data available

#1

Post by fobos8 » Tue May 07, 2013 6:25 pm

Hi all

In live in the UK and the TV guide I have is always showing "no data available" for BBC Three and BBC Four and ITV. I have downloaded the latest listings.

Any idea what the problem could be? Anything I can do?

I have a TBS 6981 DVB-S2 card

Kind regards, Andrew

I have the same DVB-S2 card as you for satellite. Others may have a different way but I use Guide Tool to populate any listings that don't appear see here

Its real easy to use I will send you a pm with some tips if you like

Or use epgcollector... I gave up on Microsoft supporting WMC a while ago .

Make sure your PC's clock is set right (including the time zone) and check your event logs

I go through the same thing everytime I set up DVB-S in MC. The data just doesn't get mapped correctly. Maybe you could put a word in for us erkotz ;)

I have resolved this.

I had ITV (channel 103) set to ITV London and had "no data available". I live in the Channels Islands. I've changed 103 to ITV Channel Islands and I now have guide info.

For BBC Three - I have 2 BBC Three's in my guide. On has programme/guide data but no video and the other has video but "no data available" in the guide. I now have ITV set to the version which has video and have the guide mapped to the other BBC Three with the guide data.

For BBC Four I managed to find another BBC Four which has video and guide data.

So all done.

Cheers, Andrew
