Somebody's rack with what looks like a dvr of some sort and something else in it. Two components.

Yeah - just my two Primes and their two tuning adapters.
At one point I had them all stacked up to save space, with all 4 devices right on top of each other. Started getting macroblocking on some channels shortly after making that space saving move, so I checked the temperatures and the surfaces were around 120F!!!
Now with them split on to two separate shelves, and with each Prime on top of just its tuning adapter, temperatures are what you see - about 25F less.
I need to get longer USB cables so I can place the Prime next to the tuning adapter and it will get even cooler...
Bottom line - cooler electronics truly are happier electronics.
