Windows7 (x86) shows in the device manager that I have an Hauppauge PVR2 (gaming edition) connected to my USB port. However, Windows Media Center does not show this as a "TV card".
I can run the bundled Happauge software, and it shows my TV signal streaming through it to the TV. That tells me applications "can" see the device.
I am not interested in channel blasting or anything else, just straight passthrough reception from my cable-out into the box->computer->WMC->Monitor.
What could be wrong?
Thanks.

It looks like Hauppauge isn't supporting this device with Windows Media Center - http://www.avsforum.com/t/1449174/haupp ... dia-center
(Hauppauge isn't supplying the drivers that WMC would need to recognize the device)
It's noticeable that the Third Party apps list for the HD PVR specifically mentions WMC, but the Third Party apps list for the HD PVR 2 doesn't.
