Weird issue during playback

#1

Post by TastytheDog » Tue Feb 26, 2013 8:48 pm

So I sit down to watch the first episode of this season's 'The Amazing Race' on the Echo and everything is looking great as some commercials go by. Then the show starts and suddenly all movement looks extremely weird-- like digital ghosting or something. Everytime the camera cuts fast or someone moves quickly, there are pixelated tracers. Since that show is all fast cuts, my wife found it unwatchable. I went back to the beginning and checked. All the commercials were good, but once CBS commercials came on for their shows the effect was there, and of course when the show started same thing. Looks fine on WMC PC. Anybody else notice anything like this? I have latest firmware and resolution set to native. Thanks.

This is probably a network issue.

Or..
Did you say CBS? This might be the 29/59 bug.

Try setting resolution to 720 or 1080 yet?
My most stable has been 1080 even on "cheapest" display.
When on native it produced some weird stuff, but haven't tried it in weeks.
