Internet Explorer within Windows 8 Media Center

hey,

so i upgraded no idea why just seemed like a good idea maybe not though as im finding out. when i was running win7 mc i created a web page that i could launch that displayed my ip cctv cameras however ive tried using the same launch and web page for win8 mc and it just says cant connect to the internet anyone got any clever ideas?
