Hi All,
Had Ceton send me a new USB tuner since my old one would not flash the lastest Firmware. I switched the Cable Card to the new tuner and had Comcast try and Re-pair the card to the new tuner. What a PITA. I get all my Copy Freely channels ok, but the Copy Once a.k.a HBO etc. show subscription required. Comcast says they did everything right on their end. The Diagnostics show that the Cable Company needs to send a CCV to the tuner.
Is this a comcast Issue?
Tuner Issue?
or the Cable Card is bad?
Thanks!

Comcast has not paired it correctly. Try their CABLEcard direct line 1-877-405-2298.
If the card is no good, that is their problem as well.

He never asked for my Unit Address when doing the re-pairing...is that needed?

Any time I re-paired mine they asked me for all the numbers of the CABLEcard. Go to Ceton Diagnostics and click on the CABLEcard tab. All the numbers that they need should be there.gthompson20 wrote:He never asked for my Unit Address when doing the re-pairing...is that needed?
If you call 1-800-comcast, most of the time they will not know the difference between a CABLEcard and a XMAScard. Call that direct number I gave you.
