Well chalk this one up as to one I haven't experienced. I have media center 7 64bit with both a hd homerun and a Ceton Infinitv4. The homerun is set as the primary for local network channels. I merged the qam channels to my Fios designated channels(502, 504, 507, 509, 510, 511, 513). The problem I am having is that if I am on one of these channels and then push the channel up or down button, it goes to a qam channel.
I am on channel 502. I press channel up and it goes to 71.102. This happens up to channel 507. I can go from 509 - 513 no problem. It will always flash the correct channel number and then change to 71.102.
This problem was happening due to channels being available in the add missing channels setup. I removed them and the problem went away. Strange.
