Can Logitech 300i start WMC & turn on Live TV with 1 click ?
I am new to Xbox extender with WMC, and looking for an easy way for wife and kids to be able to turn on tv, Xbox and run WMC live tv (FIOS) quickly on our tv.
Is 300i able to do this? Or any other reasonably priced remote instead?

My $15 RCA RCRP05B can do it but a 300 cannot because you have no way to add that additional live tv step to the activity. The next model up, the 600 can do it if you use the old harmony software. But that model isn't as cheap as a 300. Another option is to simply press the live tv button after your macro runs.

The instructions mention xbox 360, but this should work for any extender.

Rember to use the old 7.7 software, not myharmony.com to set up your new remote. Otherwise you won't be able to add any extra commands to your activity macros.k000 wrote:Thanks !
