I would like to Beta the Echo as in hardware. Will that happen?

The echo beta does not actually start until September. We will be finalizing specs and announcing more information soon before we start shipping the beta units.

I saw the title of this thread, and saw Motz replied. I thought he was just going to say "I have." :P

I have! :D

To clarify Motz's comment, if you signed up for(and were selected for) the Echo beta, it will begin in September. If you did not already sign up, the sign up is now closed, however Echo will be on sale later on this year.

Okay so they're coming out of manufacturing now. September starts this next Saturday. So when in September might those of us fortunate to be in the beta expect to see a final confirmation email and more importantly receive the beta Echo to play with?

Is the Q still a go for 2012 or is it looking like it's a bit down the road?
