Do you simply want to drive media center with it or do you want to actually have keyboard and mouse control?

I've always been partial to this one...

It's available for iOS so if you have multiple devices you only need the one program.

What do you mean by "drive" media center? Here is the scenario..... I use My Movies, and I like to "manually" setup my new movies. So I sit down once a week and drag out the old keyboard and mouse and spend all of 5 minutes setting the new movies up in my movies collection manager program, then I unplug the keyboard and mouse and throw them behind the couch until next week. I have always wanted to buy a small wireless keyboard that I could keep on the coffee table, but just did not see $50 being worth it. I am also Leary that wireless keyboards will perform well. Since I have a droid I might as well use it.Venom51 wrote:Do you simply want to drive media center with it or do you want to actually have keyboard and mouse control?
Well I bought an old droid (A855) off ebay ($40) just so I could try to figure out what this smartphone rave is all about. I am 43 and have never owned a cell phone, always thought they were kinda over rated and expensive. Well I got to admit the droid is pretty cool. I still refuse to pay for service, but it is still cool. I am currently trying to figure out the best way to make it work as a WiFi phone as well (free phone service as long as you are near WiFi).

After rereading your post I should say MM is not bluetooth but wi-fi. Wi-fi has much better range and more reliable than bluetooth FWIW.

If you purchase Ooma and their app, you can make calls for 1.9 cents a minute.
