#1 - that was great of nivues to provide that app to everyone for free. wish it worked on an extender!
#2 - thanks for updating us on niveus; i hope you guys come back and keep us posted on what you're doing. I've been checking your website on a regular basis after you stopped producing HTPC's to see just what Niveus is up to. I like the metro styling the the screenshots!

I'm not sure what this does, but I'm not going to sign up for a Facebook account to find out.

Right. Unfortunately the link that says download on the top right of their site takes you to a FB login page.
That kind of peeved me, so I have amended the subject as all non-FB'ers have been alienated. Sorry Niveus

oh sorry i didn't realize it took you back to FB.
try this link instead . . .

not sure if that one has the niveus pc only restriction, but if so, at least you can do the trial to see if you like it. i know niveus made this app free to everyone long before this thread was created, so it may already have the restrictions removed.
if all else fails, maybe someone w/ a FB account can d/l the file and upload it for other members.

Yeah that has a 2010 date stamp. I was there earlier too
Thanks for trying.
As for someone else sharing the file, it would not be advisable. It's really up to the developer how their software gets distributed. Using Facebook to distro is pretty poor though IMO. I understand their logic, as it will raise their FB worth with increased likes, and that in a sense pays for development, but me no likie.
Hopefully they will release it via other means.

Sorry for all the confusion everyone. It was a couple days since I could post and it looks like everyone that hates Facebook is frustrated. Here's a link to download the software for those of you that don't use Facebook. Thanks!
http://www.niveus.com/software/SiriusXM ... elease.zip
PS. Please ignore the old link that one of the users posted. It will only lead to more frustration as that build will time out. The site was updated this week and the old links still need to be taken down. Again, sorry for any confusion that has caused.

Can you please change the title of the forum back. Facebook membership is not required to download the application. A link has now been posted below for non-Facebook users. Thanks.stonethecrows wrote:Right. Unfortunately the link that says download on the top right of their site takes you to a FB login page.

All I get on three different Win 7 machines is this message;
"There is a problem playing the channel. Would you like to try again."
Yet it is working with Sirius's web player, SiriusxmStreamer and Xmtuner just fine.
