TRAILERS

#1

Post by guppy » Wed Jun 22, 2011 4:06 am

I am looking for the best way to show trailers. I would like the trailers to be located next to the movie, not a seperate folder with all trailers.
Has anyone seen media browser's Trailers?
http://www.mediabrowser.tv/store/details/8

I downloaded my trailers 2.0 but it creates it's own folder in wmc.

I downloaded individual trailers (MP4) and placed them in a sub-folder called trailer inside every movie folder and some showed up in media browser, some did not. It made a complete mess out of my native Movies folder, since it displayed all my movies and a blank looking folder with the movie trailer. I hate to pull the pin on My Movies 3 until I can find a good example of what it looks like, i;ll keep searching youtube. Anyone have some ideas to share please speak up.

I wonder if MediaBrowser's TRAILER Add-in ($6)..

is the exact samething as MCEZONE's MY TRAILERS 2.0 ($5.99)?

There's is some cool stuff you can do with mediabrowser insofar of trailers... the trailers plugin @ the store is great and there is also a cool companion plugin "intros" that allows you to add custom intro's before a movie is played.

I thnk there is a bundled version of the 2 together for 10$ i think

I am looking for an alternative trailer streaming add-in now that Trailer Library is dead. I don't run MediaBrowser so does that make MCE Zone's My Trailers the best option? Does it work well in the UK?

I am now using My Movies. I absolutely love the way it can stream trailers for every movie or even let you upload your own trailers.

Well I have gone with My Trailers. Happy with it so far, very slick integration.

My Trailers seems to have stopped updating and the mcezone website has disappeared. Neither of which bodes well for this add-in. I have emailed the developer asking what the situation is.

Does Media Browser now include trailers as standard? Last time I looked it used to be a paid for plugin.

I have just received confirmation from the developer of My Trailers that there will not be any more new content for the add-in and so it is effectively dead. Real shame to see another well implemented add-in biting the dust.

The old plugin store seems to have been shutdown.
http://www.mediabrowser.tv/store/details/12

Whilst the new website makes no mention of trailers or plugins.
http://www.mediabrowser3.com/

So I am still in the dark about where or how I get trailers or how much it might cost. :?
