1.8.1.3 odd things happening

No sure if its just me..... But....

System been rock solid since last epg123 upgrade to 1.7.xxx running win7 everything (not just TV) working nice a quick and as expected

Upgraded to 1.8.1.3 from 1.7.xxx to get rid of the json issues and now odd things are hppening with WMC

Tuner now takes an age before I can select a channel to watch
Channel logos in the guide take quite while to display (before they were simply there)
Music thumbnails when playing music are just coloured boxes and the albums take an age to display
Photos not available
Videos not available

Ive gone into setting and media libraries and WMC says it cant display the information

Anyone got any thoughts??

Thanks in advance

EPG123 just handles the guide listings and wouldn't cause what you are seeing except for the logos. Logos are handled via HTTP now, and WMC will take a couple seconds to establish that connection when you first open the guide.

How did you update EPG123?

Hi there Gary - thanks for the reply

Just a straight forward install over the top as I've always done

I didnt think epg123 would cause this, but its just odd that as soon as I upgraded the rest of the functions start playing up

And you didn't perform a [Client Setup] and/or TV Setup in WMC or anything like that (which you shouldn't)?
