Are the sample pictures used contain real media? (slightly stupid)

In windows 7 media center, when you hover over an option, like Music, it shows a picture containing album art, for the options that have this, do they have real media, and where does it come from? Its 12:30am and i'm awake just to find this out. I'm tired.
