Adding/Deleting LineUps in the Client

#1

Post by danman » Tue Feb 22, 2022 11:56 am

Schedules Direct has deleted the lineup that I have been using for years without any notice. The only notice received was when this started to happen...........[2/18/2022 3:00:22 AM] [WARNG] Subscribed lineup USA-WI02195-DEFAULT has been DELETED at the headend.

My communications with SD have not been very fruitful.

What's the process for using a different lineup and how big of a PIA will it be to implement?

Gary has done an excellent job supporting EPG123, but when stuff like this happens that he cannot control, frustration is the result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just open the configuration GUI and select a new lineup.

This is not something within SD's control. Their headend Gracenote adds/removes/edits lineup based on decisions by the carriers (Cox, Comcast). If Comcast decides they don't want to change an existing lineup and want a new lineup instead, that's what they get.

After you select a new lineup, do a [Save & Execute] to get it imported into your WMC database. You can then open the client, select the old lineup on the right-side pulldown, then click the red 'X' to the right of the pulldown to remove the old lineup from the database. You may then have to click the Match by: [# Number] button on the left to get the new lineup stations mapped to the correct channels.
