Can't Log Into Schedules Direct
Hello!
I'm getting an odd message when attempting to sign in to schedules direct in EPG123. I wasn't sure if I need to work this out through EPG123 or Schedules Direct, but I can log into the Schedules Direct website just fine. Here's the error I'm getting:

Well, that's weird. All http transactions from EPG123 to SD contains the user agent in the header. This shouldn't be happening, and I don't have a problem logging in. Is it still happening?

Yep, still happening as of an hour ago. The only thing I haven't tried yet is a reinstall of EPG123. I also posted the same thing on the Schedules Direct forum; wasn't sure which was the better place to address this.

SD would be the place to go. Reinstalling EPG123 won't change the results any, but you can go ahead and give it a go. Won't hurt anything.
Have you changed anything on your system? Updated/Installed .NET?

I haven't actively maintained it in years; I built it for my dad, and I've just been hoping Windows update has been keeping things up-to-date. I can dig into that and find out though.

Probably not the issue, but the only thing I can think of that would "strip" the user-agent out of the header. I don't know if SD is doing anything on their side to try to prevent unauthorized apps from downloading listings, but just to check to see...
Login to SD website, click "Edit Account Details", and make sure 'epg123' is selected then save. If it wasn't selected and you added it, see if that makes a difference.

Thanks! Just checked, and it was already selected though.

Well I'm pretty much out of ideas for EPG123, other than upgrade it to the latest version (https://garyan2.github.io/download). We'll see what SD has to say.
What version of EPG123 are you on currently? I can check that out locally, but I'm pretty sure that code hasn't changed since 2016.

I'm not sure about the EPG123 version; the PC is at my dad's place about 5 mins away. Just went there to check and the only updates it needed were some minor optional Intel ones. I'll head back and check EPG version in a little bit, but I believe its the same original version we downloaded when MS dropped WMC support way back so that could definitely be out of date.

It just needed an update! EPG123 was several years out of date; once I updated everything worked immediately. Sorry to bother anybody for such a simple, obvious solution.
