Help with playback error

#1

Post by joshmsab » Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:40 am

I have a ceton infinitv 4 pci card. Everything seems to work fine but randomly the video playback stops and 1 of 2 messages will show. Either "no tuner detected to support current activity" or "you must have the proper subscription to view this content..." Those might not be exact quotes. If I remember correctly they're very close. Any advice?

Please provide more information about your system.

Start the Ceton Diagnostic Utility. What driver and firmware version are listed? Click the CableCard tab. Is everything checked green?

I ran the diagnostic tool. Everything seems to be fine. I'm running:

Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz
2 GB Ram
600w power supply
AMD Radeon HD 6600

The problem hasn't happened since I've been watching and recording yet today. Perhaps it just needed to run for a few days.

What driver and firmware version are you using with the Ceton tuner?
