Guide not showing up in WMC

#1

Post by Burger23 » Wed May 26, 2021 8:19 pm

I am a long time user- and I am baffled. I had to rebuild a new computer using Windows 8.1 and Windows Media Center. Finally got all working. When I installed WTV and selected NO when asked about Media Guide terms. I completed selecting channels in EPG123 and selected SAVE and EXECUTE. All went well and a xmf file was successfully created. But WMC does not show Guide- it just shows Recorded TV and Live TV. I rebooted computer, Log has no errors. Cleared Cache and ran again. Ideas please. Thanks Chris

The mxf file has not been imported into WMC. Make sure in the Scheduled Task tab of the configuration GUI that 'Automatically import guide data into WMC' is selected. The 'Automatically match stations to channels' should probably be selected as well. If not, you will have to delete your current task to enable the options and then recreate the task. Click [Save & Execute] again and it should now import the MXF file, match the channels, and enable the Guide in WMC.
