Cablevision lineup that will have 600-800 HD channels in it

#1

Post by AnneM » Tue Dec 31, 2019 1:30 am

I just installed EPG123 and it went perfectly except none of the Cablevision (Optimum/Altice) channel lineups available to my zip are giving me the bulk of the HD channels. All of the lineups have only one 700 channel and a few 600s and 800s, so I have only SD for all the main channels right now. I checked every single available option in the lineups list.

Does anyone know a zip I can enter and a lineup name I can choose that will give me all the 600s, 700s and 800s channels where stupid Altice still puts all the HD channels for cablecard? (idiots)
I'd much appreciate the advice. I am zip 11757 on Long Island using Woodbury/Hicksville lineups (well, I was using them :( ). But they are all duds in this setup.

I'm seeing a lot of 700's, and 800's on:
Cablevision of Woodbury - Device D (Hicksville)
Cablevision of Woodbury - Digital Rebuild (Hicksville)

If you want to see a preview of what is in a lineup, click the [Lineup] button and right-click any of the results. It will show what is there so you can select the right one. I've never grasped why there are so many different lineups for the same provider with rebuilds and all that. I can understand having -Cable and -Digital, but why have all the others?

Hi Gary,
Thank you for developing and supporting EPG123 so well. I owe you a donation.
I have the Woodbury - Digital (Hicksville) one loaded to my guide currently (almost all SD) on lineup tab one That's the only one I executed.
I then loaded each lineup to look at the channels list, and they are all the same with just one 700 channel, except the spectrum one which had far fewer channels altogether. The 2nd lineup loaded goes to lineup 2 tab, yes? That's what I looked at after loading a 2nd one (then removed it again), then loaded another, repeat and none look good.

Okay, let me duplicate here. You may need to submit a ticket with Schedules Direct to fix this.

The order that the lineups show up in the tabs is not necessarily the order you subscribed to them. It is a first come - first serve kind of thing. In the top right of the tab, it will tell you which lineup you are looking at. I pulled both the Device D and Ditigal Rebuild and the Digital D has 638 channels with 17-600's, 96-700's, and 97-800's.

Omg I just assumed the new lineups would go after lineup 1. I never even read the names on the tabs. I looked at tab 1 again and sure enough the new lineup was there and has all the channels. I was looking at the same old lineup on tab 2 most times lol!
Ok I'll clean it up and just use the new one. Thanks a lot Gary. Happy New year!
