Lately been seeing weird issue with movie icons (when you click on an actor to see his other films): at first the icons populate for a second, then they start disappearing. The ones that remain are generally those where the movies are in the guide; other movies show a colored icon or nothing at all. Also seeing some actors are not generating all their movies.
I'm in Boston with Comcast but I don't think this has anythign to do with the switchover, which hasn't happened.

The way I believe this works is that first it does a query to find all movies in the current guide (so movies that are airing within the next 12 days) that are associated with the target actor. It then displays just these movies. Then it immediately does another query to an external database (on the Internet) to get a list of ALL movies the actor has been in, and supplements the results of the first query with the additional results from the second query.
So, if there are posters missing, then there might be a problem with the external database or with the Internet connection, or who knows what...

SOLVED:
My hosts file had these entries, suggested way back when I switched to EPG123 for guide data:
65.55.186.113 data.tvdownload.microsoft.com
72.246.56.59 cdn.epg.tvdownload.microsoft.com
127.0.0.1 images-eds.xboxlive.com
::1 images-eds.xboxlive.com
127.0.0.1 images.windowsmedia.com
::1 images.windowsmedia.com
====================================
Commenting these OUT resolved the issue.
