About a month ago my computer stopped waking for recordings. It goes into s3 sleep state. I've been running solid for 3 years, all of the sudden it's won't wake to record anymore. What might be causing this? Is there better media center software out now for live tv, guide, and DVR recordings? I also use Emby for my movie collection.

Perhaps a corrupted StartRecording entry in Task Scheduler?

If you had any damaged files, it could be causing this and could correct it. Note, if you do any mods to WMC (color changes, or custom entries like 3rd party applications in WMC,) these will be reset back to factory.
