Ok, this seems bizarre and it is happening on multiple PCs for me. I don't know when it started, but when I use channel - on my remote or click the - icon while watching live tv WMC is now skipping channel 7.1. It goes from 9.1 straight to 5.1 (I am in Seattle). Curiously, I can then hit channel + from 5.1 and it goes to 7.1. As I said, this is happening on at least two PCs in my house. Both are running Win7 Pro and use HDHR4-2US tuners.
Any ideas what could be happening? Could it be the HDHR tuners (a possible common factor) or maybe the Rovi guide switch? Fortunately I mostly just watch recorded TV so this is more curiosity than problem.

Solved! I think Rovi tweaked a latent bug in the WMC channel up/down code. When I went into the Tv Guide settings, besides the real channel 7.1, there was another 7.1 that was disabled that was labeled "Drama-Internet TV" like the 9000 series ones. I changed its channel number from 7 to 107 and now channel up/down works like it should.
