WMC Extender Strange Guide Issue

I noticed recently on my XBOX 360 that my guide color option keeps getting reset on power off. Also the guide reverts to the lowest channel numbers whereas in the past it stayed on the last channel at power off. I have to go into setup each time and check the guide color option and then save. Is this due to the new guide or just a coincidence
