Two TA's.
That was another thing in the Signcarver thread. I don't know how it can make a difference, but what he said was.....
One 4 way splitter to all 4 devices

So if one TA is for a Ceton ETH and the other is for the Prime, would this not be a problem?

signcarver was responding to my issue with multiple TAs, and I think he is correct regarding daisy-chaining TAs being the problem, but unlike Beerman I have always been able to see both TAs diagnostics pages and they both "appear" to function and be fully authorized and operational. It is just that they don't both ACTUALLY function because both my DCR-2650 and my Prime can tune SDV channels, but I can't get all the tuners on SDV channels simultaneously.
I haven't gotten around to rewiring to test and confirm because it will be a major hassle for me (not hard, just tedious). I'll definitely do that and report back when I get some free time in early July.

I got home from work, had an email from Cox with a direct line to call someone and within 10 minutes he had me up and working. Seems there was a mix up on the 'front end' and I was told this should have been the 2nd or 3rd thing phone support should have looked at.
I'm a bit peeved that it took so long but am thankful its working.
I also thank all the folks here who were very helpful.

Glad we didn't have to go through all that, although that quad splitter coax contraption looks like it would eliminate a lot of troubleshooting points.
