Someday this might happen. I can't get over the lifetime fee for it for now, but I know it's probably inevitable that this will be my only option.

The only way I could stomach the monthly fee (or lifetime) is if I cut cable and went OTA only.It also still needs a Plex/MB3 client to be a true all in one solution. I am still happy with what I have.

Lifetime guide on all TiVo hardware is something I personally would factor into the overall cost of the viewing system. Almost like part of the required hardware if you will. To me it's still an intriguing setup pretty much in the ball park for overall value.
